Brushing aside a visibly surprised Kanye West, Kanye West took to the stage at the Grammys last night, declaring, “Imma let you finish Kanye, but Kanye West had one of the best acceptance speeches of all time.”
Audience members registered shock at the interruption, particularly since Kanye has often cited Kanye West as his number one source of inspiration and the figure behind his start in the industry.
“It’s been too long since people were last talking about Kanye,” said Kanye West, defending himself afterwards. “I wanted to give a reminder of what a ground-breaking trendsetter he was and is.”
“You all seem to have forgotten about his smash-hit albums, clothing line crazy hot wife and best daughter in the world,” said Yeezy. “Here are some pictures of them. Give him the fame he deserves,” he continued before going on to say, “Stop invading Kanye West’s privacy! Just because he’s the genius voice of a generation it doesn’t mean he deserves to be hounded like this! You people are vultures. Buy my shoes.”
At press time, Kanye has reportedly released another genuinely ground-breaking album he recorded on the limousine ride home from the awards show, effectively silencing any critics who believed he may have gone too far this time.
